The air-conditioning system uses the engine power, so if your vehicle is in EV mode then the engine will stop running and not power the AC.

When your AC is producing cold air into your car, it needs to place all the moisture it’s used from the outdoors and should go through the evaporator drain pipe. This can also be caused by the AC Refrigerant amount being low which leads to the evaporator coils freezing up and an overflow of condensation. You should also keep a lookout for faulty seals in the air-conditioner compartment or the air-conditioner’s air filters if this issue keeps happening.
